Brett needs love

According to excerpts from the Favre interview on Fox News tonight Favre admits he didn’t feel the love from the Green Bay Packers. I guess Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy should have got down on their knees and done whatever was necessary to make the fragile Favre want to come back. If only my simple request in January would have been answered. It would have saved us a lot of trouble. Brett has gone away but Brett has gone away mad. So long and good riddance. I don’t care if the Packers ever win another game…

Why are you turning on the Packers because of Favre man?

    Packers first
    Favre second

We’re supposed to fans of the Packers as a team…not just Favre.

    C’mon Al.

  • Jon

Al is not a Packer fan, he is a Thompson lover.

Once you understand that, you’ll understand his demented posts.

  • Ryan 4 the Pack

The only person TT has gotten down on his knees for is Rodgers….It is almost like his ego has gotten in the way of his decision making…Or maybe it is Aaron’s golden locks of beautiful brown hair that TT cant resist. What a tool. I dont undestand how anyone can like Teddie Boy Thompson

  • Larry

We’d better move on since we’ve probably all had our say in the BF mess. This Jolly thing looks a lot more serious to me insofar as how it affects he long term.

  • Steven

AL needs to have the Packers lose for another 30 years. I can’t beleive how you are treating the greatest packer ever. you make me sick. If Ted lets Brett go I will stop being a Packer fan. One losing season in 17 years. never missed a game. The Packers and Ted owe Brett alot.

  • TRIP

Steven, let’s be serious. I admire Favre’s play and contribution to the team just as you do. But what happened to the Favre that scolded Javon Walker for being selfish? The Favre that would never, ever do anything outside of the will of his team? This is the first time since MVP seasons that Favre finds himself out of the vision of the team. And why? BECAUSE HE RETIRED! And in such a situation, Favre demands the management of the team to release him because he doesn’t feel welcome? No better than Javon Walker. Players demand releasing when they get paid 500,000 dollars but are worth 5 million dollars, not when they don’t feel fuzzy inside. TT and MM respect Favre, fully, but they have the obligation to lead the team to championships, not succumb to every call of ONE player. It’s a 52-player roster! You can’t disappear, reappear and made demands. It’s not fair to the team. And TT is not wrong by standing my Rodgers, he truly is the future of the franchise and won’t be the future if TT dangles him to and fro ever time Favre tries to make a comeback.

  • Ryan 4 the Pack

Hey Larry! I agree with you….werent you pissed as all get out to hear that Jolly could face 20yrs. in prison!! What an idiot! So now what? Justin Harrell????? Sure am glad we got rig of Williams now.

I bet TT has had a week long case of the Sh*ts :) BF wants back, Jolly is arrested, he hasnt signed a single rookie, and still has no contract for his best RB :)

  • Jake

No doubt Ryan, Packers better get their asses in gear pretty darn quick. Training camp is less than 2 weeks away and we’re significantly behind the curve in having our act together. We just need to take care of business and get going. We don’t need all these distractions goin on for the year. Whether its going to be Rogers or if its going to be Favre, we need to get goin so that our team can settle down a bit. We still have a winning team on our hands, we don’t need all this negative garbage bogging us down. If Jolly gets charged, get his ass out off our team. I am not cool with havin that kinda crap represent the Packers.

Man, this is going to be an interesting year….
    as always…GO PACK GO!!!

  • Larry

Hey Ryan; I live in College Station, get the connection? BF for Taylor, why not? Neither one will be playing in a couple years anyway and it looks all of a sudden that we might need some more defensive help.

  • Beth

I agree with Stephen. What is TT thinking? He’s an idiot. BF made the Packers what they are…NOT TT. To mistreat BF, after he was always willing to take paycuts to get better players on the team, is unheard of. Most, if not all players, are all about,”me”, & the money they can get. Brett was the best team player alive. He gave everything he had(setting too many records to count), to the Packers(without injury). To be second to AR, is a friggen joke! If they continue to do this to BF, I’m so done with the Packers. I’ll follow BF wherever he goes. I really hope the Packers are stupid enough to trade him, & that team trades him to the Vikings. Now that would be funny & serve the Packers right.
