Favre needs to just go away

I’m sick of Brett Favre. Pure and simple. He is a little baby that has never done anything wrong. His latest tirade on ESPN is further proof that he thinks he is the greatest quarterback in the NFL. A legend in his own mind. I worshipped the guy for 16 years and now I find out he is nothing more than a big baby. Brett, go away mad, Brett please go away.

If you think for one second that Ted Thompson said “Brett, you can’t do that – you’ll get me fired”, I have a bridge in Green Bay for sale. Favre is so far off his rocker it is not even funny anymore. Anybody who thinks he is not bipolar is worse off than Favre himself. Favre admitted to talking to the Vikings head coach Brad Childress and pretty much made the case for the Packers to win the tampering charge. Favre is dumber than a box or rocks. Why is Favre asking Vikings coach Brad Childress if he thinks he can still play? Sack of hammers mabye? Whatever. What an idiot.

I have never seen such a classless person than Brett Favre. Maybe that is how all people from Kiln, Mississippi act. Maybe that is the norm. All I know is that one of the greatest iron men in NFL history is the biggest wimp in the history of the league. Cry me a river Brett, cry, cry and cry some more. I will still worship Favre’s accomplishments to the Packers and enjoy watching the highlights and knowing I was at every home game he ever played, one of the greatest of all time no doubt. But now I will also know him as a little girl who was more worried about himself than the team, which explains why he has only one Super Bowl ring

I say ship him to Minnesota. And let me play defense opening day. The iron man streak will come to a quick end. The winningest quarterback in NFL history is also the leagues biggest loser. Simply unbelievable. If Favre wanted to fuck the Packers over, he sure did. All I ask for is five minutes alone with Favre. He wouldn’t play football any more, that is for sure.

And if you don’t like my view, don’t visit Packernet. I could care less. Packernet will survive as long as I want it to survive. I’m a Green Bay Packers’ fan and will always support the team. The team is going with Aaron Rodgers so that is where my support is. Not once in three years did I hear Rodgers complain about playing behind the baby, even though he may have thought he should have been playing. Rodgers has shown more class in his three years here than Favre did in 16 years. The Packers are Super Bowl bound in my mind.

I wonder what Javon Walker and Sterling Sharpe have to think about this. Favre calls them out then turns around and does the same shit. What a hypocrite. Of all the ways to go out. All I wanted was for Brett to be a Packer forever. Now it might be years before the Packers to retire Favre’s number. What is next? Is Favre going to attack Bob Harlan? This is it for me. Favre is dead in my mind. I’m looking forward to a Super Bowl run in 2008.

Go Pack!!!

The guy just can’t make a decision, should I do this or should I do that or maybe the other thing… at least he has not been a flip flopper BECAUSE TO DO THAT YOU HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION. It seems to me that he is not capable of making any decision.

Ted Thompson said that the Packers have moved on, well then move on. But the Packers have not moved on, they are still trying to make a decision… Do I trade him? Do I take him back? Do I release him?

It seems that Ted Thompson can’t decide what to do, so he is trying to talk Brett into staying retired! That way Ted does not have to decide! It not going to happen Ted, you will finally have to make a decision when Brett comes to camp. There are only 3 ways to go, so pick one already!

But keep in mind that this is a career decision and I don’t mean Brett’s career. As you always say this is a business, so start running it and make a decision! Your career will live or die based on the decision you make, but don’t worry it’s not like you have 16 years invested in the Packers and 10 years from know you will only be remembered as the guy who screwed Brett Favre

A “substantial sum” to just stay home? Al, how much did you throw in the kitty?

(Just kidding! I know you wouldn’t be “down” with this type of low behavior. Even if you’re an emotionally-controlled name-caller. Ha! I just called you a name!)

Seriously, if this report of attempted bribery is true (No matter how “twisted” the Favre klan’s version is.), deep study of the Packers’ heirarchy and decision-making is in order. If we can’t agree on that, Al, you are truly of a different intellectual and emotional makeup.

Or, should I just get a life and move on because there is nothing to see here?

Check out this from USA Today:

“I’ve put a lot of hard work in the last few offseasons,” [the Annointed Packers' QB Aaron] Rodgers said. “I’ve waited in the wings. I’ve played well in one game. He retired … and this is the direction we went in.”

    Oh.

    Sorry.

    Ok.

    Have at you.

I was in Hattiesburg today and had a nice visit with Brett Favre [A-hole wouldn't take the money!].

We discussed a number of topics not related to football [Nice lawn. How'd you get that crease on your pick-em-up's driver's door?], including Brett’s long-term relationship with the Packers [10 years, $20 million, stay home.].

I consider our conversation to be confidential and am going to be respectful of Brett and his family and keep the details private [We'll let THEM leak word of our ludicrous offer. That way we can claim the "high road".].

Ted [He told me to leave him outta this.] and Mike [McCarthy seemed to be on board until he started distancing himself from the Packers'/TT's line lately.] are going to continue to work on the football side of this issue. They have my full support [I'll do what I'm told.].

That Teddy would pay $20 million for a player NOT to play, and yet TWICE refused to pay for Randy Moss, proves once again that Teddy’s priority is not WINNING THE SUPER BOWL – it’s WINNING THE SUPER BOWL WITH HIS OWN PLAYERS.

It is clear as day now that Teddy never had any interest in winning the Super Bowl with Ron Wolfe’s quarterback.

In fact I am convinced Teddy was GLAD we lost to the Giants – he knew that had we beat the Giants and won the Super Bowl, it would been “all about Favre”. And prissy Teddy wants it to be “all about Teddy”.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Let him play – whatever colors he wears. He’s fun to watch and thinks he can still get the job done. If all this crap were on us we’d be talking to lawyers about retstraint of trade (or they’d be talking to us). Don’t worry. It’s just a game.

the only thing aaron rogers will ever win in the nfl is a game here or there,,he will get hurt before the 5th game and we will have the same curse the sox put on them selfs in 1918
