C'mon, Mel y Mel, you know the answer. Its '09 because of Bush and Crosby, not to mention Barbre and Lang.

Wow, that simple, the whole game depends on Bush and Crosby. If we get beat, it will prove we should have cut him a couple of games back. I would think the only answer would be to put both of them on the inactive list for the rest of the year.

Thank you Rocky, I appreciate the compliment.

Now any thoughts on how we keep J. Bush from getting killed in the nickel or dime coverage. The Cards will be a different team this week....as will the Packers, but can Bush really cover those receivers. I predict a high scoring game....I just hope the game does not come down to Crosby as many games are decided by the kicker.

Ok here is the question, which team is better. This team or the 2007 team?

Time will tell but I go with the 09 Pack. Many of the players have the 2007 experience so there is no danger of going into uncharted water.

There's a choice to be made here..against a top QB you can play nickel or dime OR blitz to add pressure. I believe that the Pitt game was the lowest amount of blitzes in this current win streak of 7 of 8. I for one prefer to blitz...there are three chances to win with a blitz....1. you get there and get the sack. 2. You pressure the QB and affect the pass enough for an incompletion or maybe a pick and 3. you force him to move out of the pocket and since KW cannot run you hopefully stop him for a small gain.

The last play of the Pitt game is an example of how a good seasoned QB can beat even dime with enough time...thats how the rules are set up. BLITZ all day long is my game plan and maybe we'll see Leinert have to play.

I realize if you don't get there it could mean a big play, well they'll need a bunch of big plays to keep up.

Abraham, after the Bucs loss everyone was in fear of losing their jobs. MM has shown he is a good offensive coach and smart enough to make the right change to his defensive staff. I don't think any coach could win with the O-tackles we started with and only good fortune and nimble legs kept us from having Flynn as our QB. We need some pieces this next off season but headed in the right direction, be a little more grateful. Look at the rest of our division including the Vikes who are probably one and done.

Head coaches who lead their teams to 11-5 records into the playoffs get hired ............... They don't get fired. ............Especially for some weird concept such as 'crispness'. .......... WTF ?? ...........

I doubt MM is overly concerned about what you may want ............ But I'm sure TT is relieved that you have cut him 'some slack'. .......... LOL.

Rockhead70,

You try to call others out but you were the one who left this blog for several weeks after the Bucs beat us...I still think you are a fair weather fan. You only came back when the Pack started winning again.

However, I worry about us having to play the nickle often against the Cards. Bush will not match up well with any of the Cards receivers. I hope he doesn't look like he did against Pitt.
