I didn't say I had anything against him for it...

I agree, probably one of the top 5 plays in GBP history.

Steve Cheez Says: "Marcol was off on a bender."

Easy on Chester; he'll forever have my gratitude for the TD he scored to beat the Bears on a blocked FG!

I've always had a real fan soft-spot for the guys who came from small schools so I'll throw a couple of them out - Marcol from Hillsdale College, Jeff Query from Milliken and Rich McGeorge from Elon...

If you're talking opportunity cost, how 'bout Bruce Clark? High 1st-rounder, fled to Canada rather than play NT for the Pack.

I remember John Anderson filling in for kicker once or twice. It was either because Birney was so god-awful or Marcol was off on a bender.

Hey roy j. Did you watch any of the Packer games???? A. Rodgers took a bunch of those hits also and didn't get calls. Didn't see some of you guys piping up about it then.......... And if you watched any of the couple hundred other games objectively, you'd have noticed the inconsistancy all year. That's the officiating grip I've had all year!!!!! DECIDE WHAT'S A PENALTY AND CALL IT CONSISTANTLY ALL YEAR!!! Game to game, everything gets called differently. Hell, I'd be happy if they did a shitty job calling every game as long as they call every game shitty!!! At least there'd be some consistancy!!!!

Anderson..I remember watching him pick off a pass with two casts on his arms.. Noble was a very solid LB that whole group was...Harris, Bennett, Holland...sorry iccy, didn't see Hadl or Barty. I agree with the ooportunity cost. Maybe Rich Cambell should be on there. I tried to go with high expectation guys, but also chose a couple who just got WAY WAY WAY too much playing time....i.e. Schroeder

Or, here's one....... With no ruling on the banned substances....... Does that mean they can take whatever drugs/roids/etc. that they feel like in Minny??? Would it be fair to say that the NFL probably suspended testing for banned substances in Minnesota because it wouldn't matter anyway??? That team playing the Saints could have been in a roid-rage and what????...... Well nothing..... it'd have to be appealed and that would take years!!! Minnesota law says...... they can do what they want. And I'm not even going into the players driving around at 105 MPH in 55's, using their vehicles as weapons.

I watched that Viking-Saints game with neutral interest. But, Favre had a great game. His running backs blew the game with fumbles that could have easily lead to scores. And just when you thought the hilarity couldn't get any better, the refs find a 12th man in the huddle. These are the same guys who witnessed late hit after late hit on Favre but only threw one flag out of courtesy. Hell, the Packers shoulda tried the same schtick if they knew there wouldn't be any penalty.
