12:08 PM: Late start today – but my prediction was 35-10 Packers in honor of last night’s HBO special on Lombardi.
12:09 PM: Should have stayed away – Quarless with a long catch and fumble! Come on man! They can’t stop us I don’t think so I’m not worried yet.
12:13 PM: Apparently we can’t stop them either. Running it down the Packers throat right now. Come on defense. We haven’t even come close to even stopping them for no gain.
12:16 PM: Sweet! Defense makes a play and the Lions come up empty. Hopefully that is our spark.
12:19 PM: Usual slow starting offense. This is getting sick.
12:28 PM: Packers’ offense must have thought it was going to be a cakewalk. Three and out again. Great field position for the Lions. Packers are going to blow their season in Detroit?
12:37 PM: Jennings quit on the play, that is the tone of the game today. McCarthy should be made at his team and not the officials – because his team did not come to play today.
12:40 PM: Jennings is the new Albert Haynesworth. Just quit on the field. Defense got a three-and-out, offense better make up for it right now. Packers right now are playing down to the Lions level.
12:46 PM: I’m stunned. Hope we get to halftime even up.
12:54 PM: Can’t even complete a 1-yard pass.
12:58 PM: I feel like I’m watching the Bears or something. This is getting uglier by the minute. McCarthy is about ready to literally explode on the sideline. Glad I’m not going into that locker room at halftime, but I would like to hear it.
1:01 PM: The Packers have one first down in 24 minutes of play. Absolutely pathetic. Looks like McCarthy’s first loss to the Lions and severe blow to the Packers’ playoff hopes.
1:13 PM: Rodgers’ injury must be the reason for those two play calls. Throw two yards on 3rd and 17? Defense better hold them so we can run out the clock.
1:18 PM: Game over. Rodgers is out. That’s what you get when you don’t slide. Flynn sacked. Division game and the Lions came to play. I tip my hat to them. They got the job done.
1:41 PM: Nice first play by Flynn and now the guy that hurt Rodgers is out cold. Poetic justice? That’s what you get for leading with your head.
1:53 PM: Should have challenged at touchdown pass to Jennings that was clearly a catch. McCarthy still hasn’t figured out that process. 3-0. Lions get long kickoff return and are on the move again on the ground. What happened to our run defense? Going against a third-string quarterback you should be shutting down the run and daring the QB to beat you.
