Next touchdown wins

I can’t explain it, but for some reason I am now worried about this game. The Falcons think they are disrespected, which is scary. I do think the Packers are  capable of winning this game and before our win over the Eagles I thought if the Packers beat the Eagles they were on their way.

I didn’t think the Falcons would take this game so personally, after all, they beat us the first time around. I thought they would think they would win this game with no problem. I think I am wrong on this one, I think the Falcons will give the Packers a battle that could go either way.

The way I see the game playing out is Rodgers throwing for close to 400 yards and the Packers defense holding on again in the end. I think it will be a shoot-out with the Packers heading to the NFC Championship game with a 41-38 win over the Falcons.

Let’s get it on!

That would be fun. 41-3 would be funner.

With all due respect. I do not believe the Falcons will score that many points against this D. I feel however, the Packers could put up 41 on anybody, any day! I predict Packers 27-17.

Going to the game tonight to support the Packers and be there dish out all the crap I had to take last November 28th.

    GO PACKERS!!

I’m a stats guy because they show tendencies and repetition, but they don’t win ballgames. Having said that, when you allow 24 for 28 for less than 200 and lose by 3 it shows pretty good coverage. We all know what a game of inches this is and I don’t think ATL will deviate from the dink and dunk that worked last time. We’re too strong down field and we will blitz more. Therefore, ATL (Turner) is their game plan. Ours, I think, will be a dup of PHI.

Two things standout, to me, from the last game: the lost 3 or 7 pts on the AR fumble and the Walden facemask 15 tacked onto a 40 yd runback. The two game changers. D strategy seems simple enough. More blitz w/o Woody (shadow Gonzo all over the field) and gang tackle Turner before he builds up momentum. So easy? No, but has to be done.

IF Walden didn’t commit the facemask, it would have been a touchdown. Looked like he did it as last line of defense. We need better coverage of running lanes.

What worries me the most is what packers team is going to show up today the one that fights with all they got or the one that cant get it together and get out played

I hope it’s the one that fights

The best part of it for me is the idea that this group of young men, who came together and believed in themselves, bought the team concept completely, took the names off the back of the jerseys, checked the egos at the door.

You have to play this game like somebody just hit your mother with a two-by-four.

I’ve got news for you. We’re gonna win the game. I guarantee it.

Well, odds are already stacked against us, Vegas is picking ATL by 1, the analysts are picking ATL, sounds to me like they’re putting themselves in the underdog position without actually being true underdogs… maybe they are attempting to psych themselves up for the game – creating a chip on their shoulder that no one else is putting there but themselves. Seems like they are trying to motivate themselves which, to me, is a misnomer. I honestly believe they think they got this game so why not start some crap with themselves in the media to play it up even more. I don’t know, I thought we were the better team out there the last time we played them and a couple key mistakes cost us the game. I honestly believe the Pack play mistake free football they can’t lose – that’s my opinion. I call this game with a lower score than most – I say a nail biter at Packers 21 – Falcons 17 with the Falcons driving for a last second touchdown to win it. Why not, all the others have been close since the Giants game.

I feel great about this game! The Packers in essence have won three straight play-in games. The Falcons have to be a little shaky after losing at home to the Saints and they know they “got away with one” versus the Packers earlier.

Few people are talking about this but the game that has me jazzed is a loss, namely Week 15 at the Pats. The Packers went toe to toe with everybody’s consensus favorite, without our marquee player, and had a chance to win in the final minute. Everything came together that day; moment of clarity, tipping point, whatever you want to call it! The Packers know they can win the whole enchilada, even with 17 players on the IR, and that quiet confidence is gonna carry them thru…

If the Packers special teams play the Falcons to a stand-off AND the Packers are better than -2 in the turnover battle, we win this one going away! My prediction: 31-17 Packers…

  • Jeff

If they stick to the game plan, and don’t do any thing stupid like force plays that aren’t there or refuse to go down on a kick return resuling in a fumble they should win this game. They are the better team. Wrap up tackles aswell, nevermind going for highlight reel hits, all that does in the playoffs is wind up giving big yardage and the next thing you know your on the plane ride home with the cricket churping.

  • Reid

Hold Tuner under 100 yards and we win.

Plain and simple fellas fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals… play sound quality football and do your job. Keep fighting for 60 minutes and dont let up, if you let up you go home. You have an opportunity today an opportunity to show the world what your made of dont let this opportunity slip pass you, when you walk off that field at the end of the game and there is no DOUBT that you gave everything you had and have no regrets and you left everything on the field, chances are you will WIN! Opportunity knocks gentelmen don’t let it pass YOU by! ARE YOU READY?

    • Rick

      WE READY!!!
