The Green Bay Packers face the New York Jets tomorrow in the Packers’ home opener. The Packers were blown out by Seattle last week while the Jets won their opener against the lowly Raiders. But if the Packers think the Jets will be an easy win they might be in for a long day.
I do think the Packers will win this game, my prediction is 24-17, but I don’t think it will be pretty. I think the Packers will have a hard time running the ball against the Jets. In fact, I wouldn’t even try. Just take advantage of the Jets’ weakness in their secondary with your MVP quarterback and solid receiving group.
The Packers will win and then have three huge division games to follow. The direction of their season and the NFC North Division will be determined early. I like it.
