Packers-Lions Game Blog

12:40 PM:  Yes, late start for the blog. Game tied at 7 after an early Eddie Lacy fumble is returned for a touchdown and a Aaron Rodgers to Andrew Quarless TD pass. Risky pass but got in there. Defense is looking halfway decent so far. Hope they can keep it up.

1:02 PM:  Packers get the pick but it may end up costing them nine points. Just can’t get off the field again. Thankfully they held them to three. Now the Packers can take the lead with a touchdown before the half.

1:17 PM:  Rodgers is just not looking like the old Rodgers, except on that play where he held the ball too long and took his team out of field goal position. Playing scared I think. He had a terrible pass the play before that should have been picked. Something not quite right. Maybe he doesn’t trust his protection.

1:25 PM:  The Lions lulled the Packers to sleep and then hit the big one. Sam Shields not living up to his big contract, that’s for sure. Hope they hold them to three.

1:47 PM:  The Packers’ offense continues to struggle. Receivers are not getting open against a horrible secondary. Feels like overconfidence. And Rodgers looks rattled. Defense needs to make a play now or this game could get out of hand.

2:00 PM:  Great play by Julius Peppers with the strip sack and fumble recovery. Love it! Offense needs to do something now!

2:07 PM:  Packers simply can’t do a thing on offense. O-line is getting dominated again. Going to take a miracle to win this game I’m afraid. But loving the play of the defense.

2:16 PM:  With no help from the offense the Packers’ defense is tired. Heading toward a slow death here. Can’t believe we lost two in a row to the Lions.
