Live Blog: Falcons at Packers 2014

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

I finally won a number. Don’t care what happens now.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Packers’ defense simply can’t stop them. Kind of what I expected, but it looks like they are going to get more than the 21 points I predicted. Hope it’s not enough to beat us. Packers’ offense needs to step it’s game up. Defense is not going to be any help anymore tonight.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Special teams are playing bad again. Just like I called.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Held them to three but unless the offense steps its game up we are in trouble.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

It had to come to end at some point. Oh well, at least the Saints are probably out of it. Packers’ defense is getting shredded.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

This could get ugly in a hurry.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Falcons defense is blanketing our receivers. Packers are reeling right now.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Packers just do not look good on offense tonight. Receivers are not getting open. Packers looking vulnerable right now. Punt it away gentleman.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

We are not done yet. Just what the Falcons needed, a quick score.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Disappointing to see the Packers allow a field goal attempt but Clay Matthews makes a huge play to block it. Feel good, but not in the bank yet.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

OK, maybe I jumped the gun, but why is taking so long for these guys to get open.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Packers’ red zone woes continue.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Rodgers is rattled. Falcons bringing the kitchen sink. They have nothing to lose.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Thanks ESPN. Pick here for sure.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Wow, the Packers could have put the game away there. Right call though. Defense needs another play and we can really turn the momentum in our favor.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Not too shabby. 24-7 and not even playing very well.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

The Falcons are the worst pass defense in the league and the Packers’ wide receivers can’t get open. Really? Rodgers is taking a beating. Let Lacy run it in.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Defense needed that play. Have to get seven though, and that was another bad play by the offense. What the hey?

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Rodgers’ not hot after a hot start. Two terrible passes there. Field goals will not get it done.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Guess Lacy isn’t hurt. Wow what a play!

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Lacy is hurt but Starks doing the job so far.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Packers’ defense not looking good so far. Going to need at least one stop somewhere along the line. To give them five to start a drive like that is inexcusable.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Rodgers takes a beating on that drive but the Packers are back on top 14-7. Five seconds too late to win me 20 bucks though.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Packers reach the red zone again. Can’t not get a TD here. Huge.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Punt ‘er away gentleman. Or maybe not. Huge first down there. Have to take the life out of the Falcons.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Falcons are fired up tonight. Packers are in for a dog fight. They need to pull their heads out.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

The Falcons waste no time answering. Packers in for a shootout.

[livepress_metainfo author=”Al Davis”]

Packers’ offense looks as sharp as ever, going 81 yards for an opening TD. Let’s not let it be the last one. Falcons could easily answer.
