Packers ready to roll?

The Green Bay Packers have a week off to get healthy and have three more home games in front of them, all against winnable opponents. Is it time for the Packers to reclaim their spot amongst the NFL’s elite?

It won’t be a real easy start to the run, though. The New York Giants kind of like playing at Lambeau Field with Eli Manning at quarterback. The Giants have handed the Packers two of their ugliest losses ever, beating the Packers in the 2007 NFC Championship game in zero degree weather, and doubling down with a divisional win at Lambeau following the Packers’ 2011 15-1 season.

However, the Giants last regular season visit didn’t work out that well for them, losing 45-17 in 2010. That game started the Packers’ run to a Super Bowl win. I’m not saying that will be the case again this week, but I do think the Packers win this ballgame.

The Giants are another big spending team in free agency and that doesn’t work in the NFL, it catches up to you and the Giants are feeling the pain now, they haven’t had a winning record since going 9-7 in 2012.

The Packers will drop them to 2-3 with a resounding 34-17 win Sunday night. I see it as two teams going in opposite directions.
