Packers-49er’s

9:15 PM:  Wow, after a good defensive stand the Packers’ offense looks like the Keystone Kops. Aaron Rodgers not finding anybody open at all.

9:20 PM:  If anybody was expecting the Packers’ offense to be any better this year you certainly can’t be encouraged by that despicable display. Brett Hundley and Joe Callahan looked better than Rodgers on that series.

Offensive line was pitiful, only good play was a pass to Cook that was actually thrown behind him. Ugly.

9:22 PM:  Even uglier, defense shredded and the 49ers lead 7-0. At least we don’t have to wait long to see Rodgers again.

9:42 PM:  Well, a long 15-play drive ties the game at 7, barely, Crosby hit the crossbar on the EP. Highlights were runs by Eddie Lacy and the TD to Randall Cobb, who bulled his way into the endzone.

I sure hope Rodgers plays the rest of the half, though. He may be lighting up practice but he looks rusty if you ask me. I don’t want a rusty quarterback against Jacksonville in two weeks.

9:51 PM:  I guess the only reason not to bring Rodgers back out is to avoid injury, and before the game I would have been fine with him not playing at all. But damn, I thought he looked rusty and now would have liked to see him for another drive. Oh well. Not to be.

9:54 PM:  At least there is no reason to stay up any later, early tee time tomorrow. I’m out.
