Packers-Eagles Game Blog

10:24 PM:  Packers get a huge win tonight and did with a ball control offense that kept their terrible defense on the bench for most of the night. The dink-and-donk is back, and it’s the only way the Packers can win these days. The defense is just too bad. Anyway, nice to get a win on Monday Night Football, and Aaron Rodgers was fantastic.

9:54 PM:  Packers are on the ropes with an eleven point lead. I can’t see their defense holding on.

9:27 PM:  Packers’ defense stiffens again, holds the Eagles to three. Packers need touchdowns to win this thing, though. I still think they need at least 30 to win it.

9:17 PM:  Packers get three out of the incredible play by Clinton-Dix. Seven would have been awesome, and Rodgers might be hurt.

9:10 PM:  The night of miracles continues, HaHa Clinton-Dix made an interception. Then celebrated like it won the Super Bowl. Easiest pick in history and he celebrates.

8:45 PM:  14-10 at the half. Not a victory for the defense on that last drive, but better than most for them. I would taken that before the game, so at least we have a chance.

8:27 PM:  Packers’ special teams continue to suck, but got away with one there.

8:12 PM:  It’s a miracle, the Packers’ defense held. I was too stunned to blog, it took a while to sink in.

8:03 PM:  OK, maybe not a 100, but they do have to score on every possession and are doing so tonight. Davante Adams is coming of age before our eyes. 14-7 for about ten minutes.

7:47 PM:  I don’t know why the Packers even trot out a defense. The odds of them stopping anybody is slim and none anyway. The Packers will have to score 100 to win with a defense like this. What a complete joke this is to watch.

7:39 PM:  Packers offense comes out firing and marches 75 yards for a 7-0 lead.It was a thing of beauty, maybe a little too much Rodgers running, but the lead nonetheless.

The Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles are about to square off on Monday Night Football. Packers can’t afford another loss this year and the Eagles are fighting for a playoff spot themselves in the suddenly tough NFC East Division.

I think both teams leave tonight’s game with the same 5-6 record. Packers 34, Eagles 27.
