Packers-Texans Game Blog

12:36 PM:  The first quarter is complete, no score in Lambeau. Packers blew a golden opportunity to take control of this game when they fumbled a snap at the Texans’ two yard line. Since then it’s been bad football on both sides.

12:49 PM:  Huge TD for the Packers as Rodgers hits Cobb. Conditions getting hairy so scoring will be at a premium today. 14-0 or 10-0 should would have looked a lot better.

12:58 PM:  Defense gets a stop. Any points before half would be huge for the Packers.

1:04 PM:  No dice, three and out. Need another turnover.

1:30 PM:  7-zip at the half. Sure should have had more separation. Rodgers is clearly limited and it’s taken away a few scrambles that have kept drives alive in recent weeks. 20 points will probably win the game but not sure we can get there or not. Going to be an interesting second half.

1:44 PM:  I’m thinking Rodgers is hurting the Packers’ offense more than he is helping it at this point. Might be time to give Hundley a chance. Packers’ slim lead is about to slip away I’m afraid.

1:54 PM:  Wow, Packers’ defense wilting in the snow, tie game with the Packers’ offense not able to move the ball at all, not looking good for the Packers. Playoff hopes ride on the next 22 minutes.

2:29 PM:  Huge 98-yard drive for a TD by the Packers. Rodgers can barely walk but managed to take advantage of the conditions to hit Jordy for a 32-yard TD. If only the Packers’ defense can do their job now. I don’t think 14 wins this game. Sticking to my 20.

2:47 PM:  Packers take complete control with another long TD drive, this time going 89 yards. Very impressive, Rodgers gutting it out is something I wasn’t sure he could do. I got to give him credit.
