Packers eke out close win

The Green Bay Packers are home today for another division contest, this time against the Detroit Lions. A win by the Packers would put them at 2-0 and 2-0 in the division, an ideal start to the season in defense of last year’s division crown. The Lions won’t make it easy.

For whatever reason, all of a sudden the Lions seem to play their best when playing the Packers. Last year the Packers beat the Lions twice on last play field goals even though the Packers were by far the better team. It will happen again today. Packers are by far the better team but it will take everything they got to beat the Lions.

Packers 27, Lions 23.
