Packers trying to be confident

The first time the Green Bay Packers visited Arizona this year they lost by 30. That doesn’t seem to bother Packers’ head coach Mike McCarthy, or his players. After a dominating win over the Washington Redskins last Sunday the Packers are feeling good about their chances against the NFC’s number two seed.

I like the attitude coming out of 1265 Lombardi Avenue but am not quite convinced just yet that the Packers’ can get this job done. The keys to the game I think are the Packers’ defense getting after Cardinals’ QB Carson Palmer and the Packers’ beleaguered receiving corp making plays for a second straight week.

A win would probably be the biggest win for the Packers, not including the Super Bowl, since going into Atlanta and destroying the Falcons following the 2010 season. Winning at Chicago the next week was a given.

Three weeks ago I thought the Packers would shock the world and beat the Cardinals, hopefully my timing was justĀ a little off.
