Ultimate trap game?

The Green Bay Packers are coming off big wins over the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs and now have to play on the road on Monday Night Football. The Packers face the Giants in New York on one of the worst surfaces in the league and have an 8:15 PM local time start. Everything just feels out of whack.

The Packers would be right back in the race for the division title with a win. The Chicago Bears whipped the Lions so the Packers could pull within two games of the division lead with a win. The Chiefs lost today, too, so maybe those Packers’ wins weren’t quite as impressive as we thought.

The Packers will be without Christian Watson, who has been a key figure in the team’s resurgence the last five weeks. I think that and the third straight national TV game will be too much for this young squad. Giants 23, Packers 20.
