Win and in Part 2

The Green Bay Packers play the Chicago Bears in Lambeau Field Sunday in what is a playoff game for the Packers and the ultimate revenge game for the Bears. This was my worst fear when I first saw this game on the schedule. Just like the Lions last year the Bears are coming as one of the hottest teams in the league but having lost nine in a row to the Packers. What a great end to their season it would be to end that streak and end the Packers season.

The Bears are suddenly a matchup nightmare for the Packers. They are number one against the rush on defense and are the number two rushing offense. That spells disaster for the Packers’ defense. On offense quarterback Jordan Love will have a full arsenal of weapons so maybe hitting some big passes can open things up a little. The key will be the offensive line giving Love time to throw.

I really can’t see the Packers’ defense stopping the Bears very often. It would take a miracle for Joe Barry to find a way to stop the Bears’ offense. Unfortunately the weight of this game all lands on Love. He has to be even better than he has been the last few weeks. The Packers are going to have to score almost every time they have the ball.

I’m not confident at all. I’m picking the Packers because I want them to win. So I’ll say the Packers pull it out with a come from behind 34-31 win.
