Quiet confidence, but questions as well

The Green Bay Packers are 5-point underdogs Sunday and most media pundits think the Packers will come up short. I have not quite made my prediction yet, but am leaning toward the Packers. This team is on a seven game winning streak and looking for payback after the Cowboys destroyed the Packers in Lambeau Field last October 16th.

However, having players busted for weed and coaches getting nabbed for drunk driving isn’t helping matters. What the hell is going at 1265 Lombardi Ave? Sam Shields just booked his ticket out of town with his bust, Geronimo Allison will probably survive, and secondary coach Darren Perry’s arrest for drunk driving is very disturbing. Next thing you know somebody will be snorting cocaine off a stripper’s breast.

The Packers don’t need these kind of distractions. Will they have a factor in Sunday’s game? Who knows? But it’s bad optics.
