20 minutes to kickoff. My prediction is 23-16 Packers. Late TD and the Packers hold off another late drive for the victory.
12:05 PM: Rodgers lucky his first pass isn’t an interception. Three-and-out.
12:08 PM: Jets three-and-out too. Interesting. Why did they try to pass when they can run it for five yards every play? Weird.
12:17 PM: Another three-and-out for both offenses. Boring stuff.
12:21 PM: Driver can’t catch anymore. 1 first down and out this time.
12:27 PM Ditto for the Jets. But a fake punt gets a first down. Wow!
12:33 PM: Holy crap! McCarthy wins another challenge the Packers go for the big play on first down. Jennings to the 6! Now get it in the zone!
12:38 PM: Jets hold, 3-zip Packers. At least we got points on the missed fake punt. Had we come up empty it could have turned the game around.
12:49 PM: Jets fumble! But I think it will be overturned. Shoot!
12:52 PM: Packers win another challenge and almost got a bomb to Jennings! Damn. We have to take advantage of this turnover.
12:57 PM: Quarless with a huge drop! You have to catch that ball in the NFL. But Rodgers should have thrown to Jennings.
1:04 PM: Packers’ defense holding up well with all the no-names in there. If the offense could just put some points on the board, but the Jets defense is no slouch, either. We’re hanging around though and you know what sometimes happens when you let an underdog hang around to long – they beat you!
1:15 pM: I sense the Jets taking over now. Packers wasted too many opportunities and now Charles Woodson drops an interception which always comes back to haunt you.
1:20 PM: No way we this challenge I don’t think. Moose is right – tie goes to the runner.
1:26 PM: We get another break! Got to somehow take advantage. Need a TD so bad, though, field goal does no good.
1:30 PM: I can’t believe Rodgers took that sack! That was his worst play of the year.
1:34 PM: Rodgers sack cost the Packers at least three points. Killing ourselves on offense again, dropped passes.
1:37 PM: Another Rodgers sack. Just run it out now.
2:04 PM: Nice little drive going after a great defensive stop. Can we finish one drive for a change?
2:06 PM: Sorry, I jinxed them again…
2:15 PM: What! A missed field goal against us! That never happens. Defense holds again. Come on offense! Do something, anything.
2:21 PM: McCarthy should be fired for that play call, this is ridiculous. Throw the ball!
2:24 PM: Sanchez getting all day to throw – Big Play Clay a non-factor.
2:31 PM: Defense is reeling now – running out of gas.
2:38 PM: Woodson finally makes a slash play, can the offense take advantage, I have my doubts.
2:43 PM: Crosby makes then need a TD to win, confidence is not high.
2:47 PM: Somehow we have to get the ball back and quickly.
2:50 PM: Defense couldn’t get home and gives up the back breaker. How sad, work this hard and lose by a point. I still think they will play well the rest of the season.
2:53 PM: Offense has a chance to win it now. Just do it!
2:58 PM: Playing not to lose usually means a loss.
2:59 PM: We deserve to lose now. Three of the worst play calls in the history of the sport. If Rodgers is hurt take him out, but we should have been running our offense with 4 minutes left, not three line plunges.
