Packers-Patriots Game Blog

7:35 PM:  Late start. Other issues going on. I’ll try to stay focused. I like the onside kick to start though.

7:51 PM:  Woodson drops and pick and the Patriots score a TD two plays later. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. If the Packers win their final two they are in the playoffs, if they don’t they don’t deserve to be anyway. Can’t believe Woodson lost it as fast as Favre did. He’s completely done.

8:21 PM:  Beautiful touchdown pass to James Jones and the Packers defense held, but a sack stalls the next drive – Jordy with a huge drop which might have been a first down on 2nd and 17. Packers are playing fairly well considering everything. I’m happy so far – could have been better though without dropped interceptions by Woodson and Sam Shields.

8:33 PM:  Flynn making some plays, Packers hanging around. Quarless with a big drop deep in Patriots territory – should have been a penalty.

8:36 PM:  Somebody got a message to the refs because they threw a late flag. So the Packers hand off to Brandon Jackson. Enough with him already! Why is James Starks inactive tonight?

8:40 PM:  More active on Twitter tonight if you want to follow @packernet. First and goal Packers!

8:46 PM:  I have just seen everything. A 71-yard kickoff return by a lineman. If that isn’t even enough to get Slocum fired what is. Just what you want to do – let the Patriots right back in it! Another reason to fire McCarthy.
