Tonight’s game is one that the Green Bay Packers should win easily. However, nothing this season has come easy for the underachieving Packers. The Packers have found a way each week to make things hard on themselves and I doubt that changes tonight.
The 49ers are playing without their starting quarterback and starting running back and with a banged up receiver corp. But they also have a massive chip on their shoulder after being dumped from Sunday night football next week. They will be ready to play today.
So the guess here is the Packers’ struggling offense, which only comes alive when down 20 points, will continue to struggle but in the end Mason Crosby will redeem himself with a game winner in the final minutes. Packers 23, 49ers 20.
