Tough one to call in the ATL

The Green Bay Packers face the Atlanta Falcons Sunday in a game between two young teams hoping to be in contention for the playoffs this year. Both teams are 1-0 with the Falcons having beaten the Carolina Panthers last week 24-10. We all know the Packers hammered the Bears as usual.

Now the Falcons are certainly better than the Bears, but the Packers are certainly better than the Panthers. From what I have read this week the Packers will have the edge up front as the Falcons offensive line is still a work in progress. So the Packers can expect a heavy dose of the run game to keep pass rush to a minimum.

The Falcons have some playmakers on defense but if the Packers offensive line plays like it did last week Jordan Love should be able to have success. If the Packers are without Aaron Jones I think they will try to air it out more.

I’m going to go with the Packers defense in this one. Packers 24, Atlanta 17.
