Packers put up good fight, lose to Steelers 31-28

Green Bay started the game off fast getting two big plays one their first two drives: a 39 yard pass to Randall Cobb and a 54 yard pass to Jamaal Williams from Brett Hundley. The two scores took a total of 9 offensive plays. The big plays combined with an early Damarious Randall interception of Ben Roethlisberger had the Packers leading the Steelers for much of the first half. Randall continues on his big season.

The second half began with another big play from Green Bay as Hundley found Davante Adams for a 55 yard touchdown pass. Soon thereafter Ahmad Brooks tipped a Roethlisberger screen pass which Blake Martinez capitalized on and intercepted. The second half was back and forth until the Packers scored and went up by 7 with 2 minutes left in the game. The time proved to be too much as the game ended with the Steelers driving and Chris Boswell making a 53 yard game winning field goal.

For as well as Brett Hundley played he was still outdueled by Ben Roethlisberger; particularly on the Antonio Brown connection. The Packers played their best all around game since the injury of Aaron Rodgers; however it proved not enough against the elite Steelers.

The Packers come back to Green Bay for a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday at 12:00PM CST.
