ywOGL-1608596048-182320-blog-0530P%20HEADS%203_PACKERS%20V_WDJT971J.JPGEven if summer might be coming to an end this marks the best time of the year for football fans. With colder weather and shorter days, the promise of NFL and Packer football are there as a constant. At the time of the writing of this article the season is only a couple of days away and there is a lot to look forward to in regards to the Green Bay Packers.

Regardless of whether or not you only watch the NFL to see the Packers play or if you like to bet on nfl lines here and there there are a couple of things that stand out. In this text we’re going to outline some extra

Aaron Rodgers performance

Aaron Rodgers is building on his legacy as a packer, and his new contract deal only cements this fact further. Having long been a fan favorite in Green Bay he will continue to play for at least three more years at Lambeau field. His new contract has been met with applause by some and moans by some, but being able to continue watching him play in the most beautiful shirt in the NFL is going to be something to truly treasure.

Matt LaFleur’s continued coaching of the team

Last year looked extremely promising but ended in disappointment for the Packers fanbase. Matt LaFleur and his coaching staff have started to build an incredibly interesting dynamic in the team and now a couple of years at the helm of the same team is bound to lead to improved performance. When one looks at the vegas nfl odds many bookmakers expect good things to come out of Green Bay this year.

New draftees

Watching the newly drafted players is always one of the highlights of a new season. Will the rookies perform well straight off the bat or will they need some time to settle into the league. This is something that only time will tell, but both of Green Bay’s first round picks this year in Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt from Georgia are very promising. These two heavy hitting defensive players will hopefully make an impact on the defensive side of the ball and may well turn out to be a much needed tool in Joe Berrys arsenal.
